At Van Bakel Greenhouse and Garden Center we strive to keep our customers coming back each year not just by offering quality plants and selection but by continuing our emphasis on helping you with your gardening questions to keep the excitement growing!  Educational seminars, knowledgable staff, and these growing web pages all contribute to helping you learn more about your garden and growing it well.

We understand how important it is to work together with your garden's site conditions and local weather patterns so 2009 saw the launching of our  monthly newsletter to help you keep on top of your gardening learning curve.  Our Helpful Hints pages are a collection of articles from past newsletters and are a great spot to search for detailed how-to information on a variety of subjects.. Analyzing your soil or Pruning Hydrangeas are just two examples of the many articles we're collecting here.  

2009 was a landmark year for us!  It was our 5th year on this exciting learning curve of how to bring you larger than ever loads of exciting new plants and to continue improving our service. The 2010 season is coming up and we're already making plans for our next phase of growth.  Our goal is to become the very first place you turn to for all your gardening needs!
